The Department trainees M.S. (General Surgery), M.S. (Gynaecology), M.S. (ENT), MDS (oral surgery) post graduate students from all over the state of Andhra Pradesh.

The members of the department regularly participate in various CME Programmes, Seminars, Conferences etc.,

The department conducts structured teaching programme for various post graduate and post doctoral students consisting of Seminars, Journal club, Lectures, Clinic copathological conferences, Mortality meetings and Case Discussions.

A teaching unit consisting of 20 beds and headed by Dr. M. Srinivasulu M.S. M.Ch, assisted by Dr. T. Subramanyeswara Rao M.S. M.Ch, Dr. P. Nagendra Babu M.S. M.Ch and Dr. P. Sreenivas Prasad M.S. M.Ch is created as per MCI guidelines.

A clinical project "Lateral Pelvic Lymphnode Dissective in Carcinoma of Rectum involving middle and or lower thirds" was undertaken by Dr. M. Srinivasa Reddy, M.S. M.Ch surgical oncology student his dissertation under the guidance of Dr. M. Srinivasulu M.S. M.Ch.

A Clinical project "Modified D2 Lymphadenectomy in Carcinoma of Stomach" is being undertaken by Dr. K. Sreekanth, M.S. M.Ch surgical oncology student as his dissertation under the guidance of Dr. M. Srinivasulu M.S. M.Ch.

A clinical Project "Comprehensive Elective Neck Dissection in Carcinoma of Tongue" is being undertaken by Dr. P. Viswanath M.S.,M.Ch. Surgical oncology student as his dissertation under the guidance of Dr. M. Srinivasulu M.S. M.Ch.

A clinical Project: "Management of Retroperitoneum in Testicular Cancer" is being undertaken Dr. M. Nagewara Rao M.S. M.Ch surgical oncology student as his dissertation under the guidance of Dr. M. Srinivasulu M.S. M.Ch.

EPO-ANE an international multi centric study in "Metastatic Breast Cancer" is conducted with Dr. M. Srinivasulu M.S. M.Ch. As Principal Investigator.

"A comparative Micro-array based genomic analysis in carcinoma tongue patients who smoked and who did not smoke" is being conducted in collaboration with CDFD, Hyderabad with Dr. M. Srinivasulu M.S. M.Ch. as co-investigator.

"A comparative Micro array based genomic analysis in young and old colorectal cancer patients" is being conducted in collaboration with CDFD, Hyderabad with Dr. M. Srinivasulu M.S. M.Ch. as Co-Investigator.

"A micro array based genomic analysis in Carcinoma Esophagus" is being conducted collaboration with CDFD with Dr. M. Srinivasulu M.S. M.Ch. As co-investigator.
